A big thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our recent survey. Your responses have enabled us to choose the features which need to be developed and also find out which ones wouldn't be worth the development time.

With 62% of you having used Manchester Lads for more than 6 months, we're pleased to have received so many positive comments from regular users with few people reporting technical problems.

The survey did highlight some concerns with the review and email/message systems, which we're responding to here because the information is useful to all users.

Reviews

What guarantee can you give that the reviews are genuine?

The short answer is none. Before Manchester Lads publishes a review, we take several steps to judge how genuine it is likely to be. However, as we do not arrange introductions, we cannot be certain that the person sending us comments has actually met the escort concerned.

We can't detail the methods we use to judge reviews, as publishing details would remove their effectiveness. Suffice to say we've caught out escorts reviewing themselves, escorts reviewing other escorts (negatively to knock-out the competition), jaded ex-boyfriends leaving negative comments and a host of other attempts to misuse the system.

The review section should be independent of the escorts along the lines of Daddy's Reviews and should include negative feedback.

Because we can't be 100% sure that reviews are genuine, publishing negative comments would be unfair. Instead, we remove escorts after receiving three or more verifiable complaints.

It is not possible for us to provide independent reviews in the same way as Daddy's Reviews, after all we are funded by escorts, but there's nothing to stop you using Daddy's instead. You will need to be prepared to provide more information however, for example your telephone number.

I would like to leave reviews but prefer not to leave an email address.

I met X from your website and had a bad time. His reviews must therefore be fake.

We're sorry to hear you had a bad time but it doesn't mean X's reviews are fake. It's entirely possible that the last client X met had fun even though you did not. X could have been having a bad day or the two of you may just not have clicked. It's not humanely possible for an escort to get on with every client he meets. After all, do you get on with every person you meet at work?

If you do have a bad experience with an escort please send us a complaint via the review system. Only then can we do something about it.

Emails

Some escorts do not reply to messages.

If you find escorts aren't replying to you, please let us know via the review system. Once your message has been sent to an escort's email address, we have no way of telling that he hasn't replied unless you inform us.

Also, please check that you are typing your email address correctly. A large number of reported "escorts not replying" cases have been due to incorrectly typed email addresses.
